"Suitable for zombie hunting? The Motoped is described as a vehicle that can 'go where stand alone bicycles or motorcycles can't'. It has a 500-mile (805km) range, a 200 mpg efficiency and a heavy-duty universal rack"

"Tactical weapons: Niel Burnett, of Covers & Camo. PrepperCon also featured actors from the AMC hit show 'The Walking Dead'"

Meanwhile, in Nepal where being prepared for a disaster could have come in handy...

It's pretty hard to be prepared when living in cities like this.....

I've seen pictures of Kathmandu where 5-6 story building were cantilevered one on top of the other, definitely not a place I would want to be, even in a minor shake.

The whole stupid mess coming to a permanent end would certainly solve a lot of problems. Sometimes it's better to let the crappy old house burn down altogether than to sink any more time, heartbreak, and money into the losing cause of trying to fix it. :|

Yet that's the exact place where more people to be prepared!

Dragons would be more likely too.

Earthquakes, forest fires, floods, tsunamis, blizzards, tornadoes, and socialists are all far more likely to cause disasters than dragons or zombies.

And if you prepare for Dragon attack, you are good for the first 6; and if you are prepared for Zombies - the rest are also covered. ;)

Then you want one of these (and so do I!!):

A couple years ago I bid on a surplus Dutch LAV (and lost) and this summer there's supposed to be six more up for auction.

This time I'll be bidding in person. 8)
