FFS. He laid face down as though in surrender. Was all that extra punching and kicking really freaking necessary?

Actually, I have little sympathy for criminals... besides, he only got a beating. 8)

Supposedly we live in a society where punishment is only handed out after a guilty verdict from a fair trial. Unless you believe otherwise then I think you have no choice but to consider this another miscarriage of justice.

Had these been civilians I'd have no problem with them beating the living shit out of this assclown but, because they're police officers this isn't even a miscarriage of justice it's assault plain and simple.

I realise being a police officer must be frustrating and terrifying but FFS they're sworn to uphold the law not break it. So, when you start kicking people in the head when they're down, submissive, compliant and surrendering you've got a problem because, you've just broken your own oath and become another thug.

But the good thing is that it's all on tape and there can be no question about these assholes actions.

trying to prove his point by using one that proves the exact opposite. We'll probably get this response now every time there's a police incident involving a white victim. But then we may have to wait a while for the next one because the cops just don't seem as eager to dish our rough justice to white.

Interesting charts. Glaringly absent from the police shooting outcry. either way bad shootings are bad shootings and concerning regardless of race. This chart (which does not just map "bad" shootings) seems to indicate in its merits alone that it is not a race thing. Maybe its more a training thing. Not saying we don't have some issues time to time up here but our police selection and training is at a higher standard than most US jurisdictions. So is the pay.

We've gone off on a "police shooting black" tangent when the suspect wasn't black... and there wasn't any shooting. :?

Wow. Civilian vigilantism good, police excessive force (ie vigilantism) bad. So the cops should have called in their off duty buddies to administer the shit kicking, and all would be good.
