The leaders of almost all the other 28 NATO member countries have made time for Stoltenberg since he took over the world's largest military alliance in October.
It's ok the US Army at Fort Sam are bring on Charge's against a certain faverite hero soldier of Obama. You know the one he got for dealing 5 mid to high level Taliban/AQ devils back to the ME from Gitmo. I hear Utah has itchy finger's if the Army would let them lol.
"sandorski" said NATO is not a "friend", it is an organization where "Friends" meet. Another tempest in a teapot.
So you don't think it's a big deal that the president of the largest member of NATO won't meet with the head of NATA? At a time when there are multiple threats of exactly the type that NATO was designed to deal with?

Is the only time he has contact with NATO when the head is in town? I seriously doubt it. He and/or members within the Administration are probably in contact with the appropriate NATO personnel on a near daily basis.
Obama has been absolutely terrible as President.
Nothing new.
Obama has been absolutely terrible as President.
Not entirely. After all, he's managed to make Jimmy Carter look better.
" I'm so fucking awesome!"
If that's how he treats OUR friends and allies, ...
Pardon the edit, but his friends and allies are not OUR friends and allies.
I don't know.

Even if you're right that there's no real need for a meeting, don't you think the symbolism is important?
So face to face meetings are pointless? Why dose Obama even leave the white hose for anything then?
Even if you're right that there's no real need for a meeting, don't you think the symbolism is important?
Not pointless, just not necessary. NATO isn't a Nation nor is the head of NATO a Head of State. What symbolism?
It made the papers, and makes Obama look like an idiot.
Again.
As usual.
The symbolism of NOT meeting the new NATO boss, even as a courtesy.
It made the papers, and makes Obama look like an idiot.
Again.
As usual.
The "Papers"? Oh my oh my.
