CRTC reforms to include $25 basic cable or satellite package

The CRTC is expected to announce today that cable subscribers will soon be able to purchase a basic $25 a month package and have pick-and-pay options.

Watch them jack up the monthly internet rates to a minimum of $80 a month to compensate for their losses when people in droves start dropping some of those dumbass channel bundles.

I'd get cable again if it was $25. Would be worth it to watch the news, sports, and star trek reruns.

Some of Canada's major telecommunications companies such as Rogers, Telus and Shaw said they're looking forward to giving customers more choice.
Weren't Rogers and Shaw fighting to prevent this from happening? Cuz you'd think if they were looking forward to giving us more choice, the CRTC wouldn't have had to intervene in the first damn place

It would almost be worth it . . if there were any programs worth watching that I don't already get free over the air.

I'll switch to Internet TV! Oh wait, they've all added enforced caps. It will be $3 per fucking episode....
