And the community activist part of the administration rears it's ugly head. Although, in fairness the Ferguson Police Dept doesn't really represent the community as a whole given it's got 50 white and 3 black police officers.

So, instead of trying to bully a city into politically correct submission perhaps they should be working on getting them to voluntarily include more blacks and minorities in the running of the place. Things which would go alongway in helping race relations back onto an even keel.

But hey, why offer an olive branch when you can use a hammer, and sickle to force everyone to be happy.

They should do a poll in all these neighbourhoods and ask the inhabitants if they want the cops to even enter the area anymore. If the answer comes back as a convincing 'no' then withdraw all police services and let the people who live there set up whatever living/security arrangements they prefer to live under.

Given what's happened there in the last few months, I wouldn't trust the police and I'm white.

Maybe they just want to get shot by someone of their own colour.
