When are we going to get over this giving religion specail treatment? This is no different than what happend with those two FN girls.

And the courts, with all their majesty will determine what is a "real" religion and if a person is a "real" adherent in it.

So, "I oppose vaccination because I think it cause autism or I'm worried about the potential side effects" unacceptable.

But, "I oppose vaccination because some guy on earth told me the guy in the sky told him that it's evil" that's an OK reason.

    Nuts.

The comments on that article are hilariously terrifying.

    Vaccinate your kids folks.

Maybe this is just a plan by the government to collect a list of unfit parents?

No program is in place to ensure that adult immigrants arriving in Ontario are immunized, the auditor also found.

And just why the hell not? I think that pisses me off worse than parents not immunizing their children.

I did see a post by a pediatrician who said anyone who comes to him with un-vaccinated children will be reported to child services.

Only exceptions should be for Medical Reasons.

Jennt McCarthy has a lot to answer for. I sure hope the school boards take action soon in forbidding unvaccinated kids to come to school.

In BC, it's the Christians in the Fraser Valley who are refusing to vaccinate. Very few know who Jenny Mccarthy is, I would guess. Religion has a lot to answer for. And these people aren't even Christian Scientists, who are actually pretty neat people, except for the whole pray to get better thing.

I choose to blame Jenny McCarthy, and you can't stop me. And if I ever get my hands on her... she'll be punished.

What do you expect from some stupid bitch who has no problems having bio-toxin injected into her face for reasons of vanity?

I don't think so. Jenny's not on "the list". I'm sure she'll be ok with it once she hears the reasoning though.

Well, to be fair, immigration is a federal matter not a provincial one so the legal and procedural framework might not be there at the provincial level.

That said, they just could make it part of the requirement to obtain a health card, whether you're an immigrant or not.
