The administrator of a Vancouver Island municipality says controversial computer spyware that drew the ire of the mayor and attention of B.C.'s privacy watchdog has been disabled.
Wow. I'm surprised. The CAO says he might revisit the matter following the investigation. Something tells me the CAO might be looking for a new job instead.

He might still be. But any corporation or government will install this kind of software on their computers to monitor them. If it's not on the front end, it's on the back end. Doesn't mean the police put it there to spy on him.
