Awww, here ya go Unsound, when the going gets tough, just throw away your dual citizenship and come running 'home'.
See how easy it is ?

Shall we send a private plane to go and get him as well ?

Gotta love these 'convenient Canadians'. Let him stay in prison there.

How could he possibly hold any love for Egypt after that nightmare?

    "Let him stay in prison"???

As in: "A man being persuctuted overseas asked Canada for help, but in my personal opinion, he hasn't lived in Canada isn't obligated to help him. Persecute him some more just for daring to ask!"

Every time I wonder how there can be so much human ugliness and evil in the world, a trip to CKA reminds me exactly how...

They don't come from these over-exaggerated "supervillain" figures they come from the callous, petty and mundane ugliness of your average, everyday small-minded person.

Let him come back with one caveat. If he ever tries to renew his Egyptian citizenship again, his Canadian one is permanently revoked.

If private planes are included then I don't even need to consider the matter any further, I'm sending in my application tomorrow!

How about we just stop all the dual citizenships which become nothing more than Canadians of convenience crap. If you want to be a Canadian be a Canadian otherwise, fuck off permanently because, there are a ton of people who can't get in because of people like you but, would love nothing more than to see the term Canadian written in big bold letters on their passport.

So, if he kept his Egyptian citizenship because he thought it would help him as a reporter in Muslim countries the question becomes. How well did that work out for you, twit?
