Anglophone employees of a Montreal hospital are upset after being told they can only speak English in the ER or on their breaks. Otherwise, it must be en français.
There are English hospitals in Montreal and there are French hospitals. Sacre Coeur has ALWAYS been a French one, ever since the Catholic Church established it in the first place. I'm surprised that there are even English employees there. Having said that, would anyone have complained if those pharmacists had been speaking Mandarin? or Urdu? or Farsi? Somehow, this smells like they have aimed yet another racist shot specifically at a little group of Anglophones ... again.
Maybe we should have a "No french" law for the rest of Canada to show these fucks how stupid they and their rules are.
But, wouldn't that unlike in Quebec be considered discriminatory.
