Who am I to judge and I'm sure it's great work if you can get it, But $1.5 million dollars, because another one of these nutty judges (most likely one of her customer) claims he can't see how a crazy-eyed, media arts, goth kid could grow up to be a dominatrix without getting into a car accident.

I don't find it implausible. It sounds very much like she had the equivalent damage a stroke can do. There's numerous cases of people who've had strokes and changed drastically afterwards.

Anytime the brain gets scrambled for whatever reason, the person is changed forever. Unfortunately there is no crystal ball to say what the person was going to be like if there was no damage, so there's an assumption made. The damage is still real though.

That quote is about how she changed after the accident. I've dealt with a few people with similar changes after serious head trauma. In cases like this where head trauma is involved you really do have to look at the personality and actions of the person prior to that injury and see how much they have changed.

From the article she appears to have had drastic changes in her social boundaries and learning/attention ability. $1.5 mill seems very high to me. Yet I do hope this money will go to help treat her and get her back to being closer to how she was before the accident.
