I understand where the Greeks are with this. The extreme left and the extreme right oppose the Euro and the EU for different reasons and they object to being told how to run their country by the Germans. Maybe things would be different if it were the Swiss orchestrating things in the Eurozone but it's the Germans and the Greeks have sore feelings left from Germany's European Tour.

Not saying I agree, just that I understand.

    Something you might appreciate:

A friend asked me what the meaning of was.

I told him that in German it means elbow room but that in Polish it means company's coming.

There is no 'Poland', it has always been a territory of Russia.

And yea, the Greeks want a debt 'haircut'. Wish I could do that!

Actually it means living room. I guess company's coming into your living room. Or settlements, as the Israelis call them. Maybe that's just a corruption of shtetl. Shtetlments?

He's too busy helping football teams to win to concern himself with the Polish question. Course he's covered either way, since somebody on either team that wins will thank him for the victory.

It would appear as though Greece may be looking for new friends in low places:

Greek minister says Athens against sanctions on Russia

    http://www.todayonline.com/world/greek- ... ons-russia

So evidently the angle is: If we are going to piss off the EU, then the enemy of my enemy is my friend.

Greece is on that slippery slope, again. They've been living off of the fat of the land for years and their debt crisis is not shortening.
