Miss Universe Canada's hockey-themed 'national costume' goes viral

Rock on Chanel.......way to to go girl. Love the attention the outfit brings to our National sport and one that we Rule!

That is an AWESOME dress! It's so full of awesome that even I would look good in it!

It's rather silly IMO. However, a lot of the other Nations dresses are silly as well. So I suppose it's fine.

The dress is beautiful, of course, but Chanel Beckenlehr is what really makes it shine.

The wig looks like something that Marie Antoinette would wear-but without it, Ms. Beckenlehr can be described as, as the French would say, "ooh la la!"

The drawing makes her intent more clear for the skirt. It's a hockey goal. With a very lose weave net in front of her panties, a net that looks like a hockey net. And she carries a goalie stick. The implication is her crotch is the goal. Ok; I'm good with that. Unfortunately her actual skirt is more rounded, doesn't lift up as high, so the "crotch as goal" effect isn't quite as clear. And the drawing appears to show a thong through the net. I can't make out her panties in the actual picture.

The CBC article claims the hockey sticks on her back look like Hexadecimal from Reboot. I think they look more like the Starcraft game character Sarah Kerrigan: Queen of Blades.

Lots of them wear silly costumes, but Canada's is by far the silliest.
