So now we need two breathless articles about the same news story, posted by the same CKA member (I use the term member advisedly) neither of which article mentions the reasons the school was denied funding?

Oh piss off andy. Ofsted officials grilling little kids about whether they feel trapped in their bodies is NOT a proper investigation into the educational quality of the school. Quite frankly, it's none of Ofsted's goddam business.

What's the matter andy, got no excuses for a govt agency grilling little kids about their sexuality? I guess that type of behavior is acceptable to you as long as it results in the closing of a free Christian school.

I take it they'll be going to a Muslim school to bully its pupils over what they know about gays and people of other faiths....

Ofsted only picks on schools that have mainly white pupils and/or Christian schools.

Last year it decided not to give Middle Rasen primary school in Market Rasen, Lincolnshire - a town with few ethnic minorities - an "outstanding" rating because all of its pupils are white. Ofsted described the school - which is in England - as being "too English".

So, rather disturbingly, despite the fact that Ofsted found nothing wrong whatsoever with the school's teaching methods and found that the children achieve high grades, it didn't give the school high marks merely because all of its pupils are white.

Of course the mail blew the last line of the findings to rally their largely xenophobic readership.

The telegraph at least had the decency to withdraw their statement about the reasons for the downgrade, no such class from the mail.

Probably wasting your time Del. I posted a longer list of reasons why the school was closed in the other breathless thread about the very same topic. The believers don't want to hear it, this is all about persecuting Christians. Looks like Christians are going back to the old ways, being persecuted by the state and all, while the other Abrahamic religion (then, Jews, now Muslims) gets all the breaks from the state.

Why TF these schools should exist is beyond me. Especially with the exemption of not having to hire qualified teachers, the way the regular school system has to. Just an opportunity for religious lunatics of all stripes to indoctrinate their kids at government expense.

This must have really represented the horns of a dilemma for FD. On the one hand he could have posted how the Muslim school was closed because, in part, they segregated the children by sex and made women teachers wear headscarves (of course segregating by sex happens at most private schools in england) proving how scummy the Mulims were, or only focused on closing a Christian school, which gave Batsy a nice thrill of proving they're discriminating against white people. No brown Christians in England, I guess. So many choices.
