I suspect this will not help the Taliban in the long run. Just a hunch.

Pretty well their MO. And they seem to be having a good run of it. As long as govts in Pstan and Astan are so corrupt, they will always have a certain level of support. ISI (not ISIS) suporting the Tban surreptitiously doesn't help either - Bascially the Pstan govt seems to be pulling in at least 2 directions at once.

Don't these children deserve it, since they are also Muslim, therefore evil? Probably all grow up to be jihadis anyway, right? Whatever we do, don't let those children into Canada, right?

I don't understand why you get incensed when Muslims kill Muslims, since you hate them all.

But at least the US won't be intervening, right?

They aren't which might be part of the problem.

American troops guarding Pakistani civilians would never work, but maybe Pakistan's fellow Commonwealth Nations can provide some help.

Why, when Pakistan won't? They have a powerful military, they get military aid from y'all. They don't go after the various jihadi groups full bore, because they are also allied with them to try to keep down India. Not only in Kashmir, but also in Astan to prevent Indian influence growing there.

So any Commonwealth country crazy enough to step in there would just get caught in the cross fire. And what commonwealth country? Britain would certainly not be any better received.
