It looks unbelievable, but snow really did take out this pair of French doors at a home in Cheektowaga on Tuesday.

    It's kind of amazing, watching that lake effect snow. 8O On one side of the line, 2 meters. On the other, nothing!

    Yeah not like the summer when you can see one half of the road dry and the other wet. In the winter the wind drifts around and obscures the view.

    Makes me think of this spot on Kauai:Capture.PNG

    The usual rain storms that occur here will rain right up to the red line. On the other side of the line there's usually very little rain. It's the weirdest thing to be there and be in torrential rain on one side of the line and then drive maybe a hundred meters and the ground is completely dry.
