I still prefer brewing up a pot of joe. I drink 5 large cups of coffe every day. 3 in the morning an 2 in the evening before going to bed. I don't know the prices of these coffee pods, but at 5 cups/day it would probably add up in the course of a month. As it is, my cost is about $20.00/m

Brewing one cup at a time is great for a fresh cup every time, but I'm with Yogi here, I'll grind the beans for a full pot using the old Melitta pot and filters or maybe the French press. When I want a cup it just gets popped into the microwave and off we go. The best thing about being out in the bush is firing up the camp stove first thing and putting on the old coffee percolator, try doing that with the pods....

I make my own 'pods' for the campfire pot. I buy cheap nylon stockings and fill with the right amount of coffee. No grinds in the bottomm of the cup!

This has got to be in relation to Keurig's new 2.0 series because with the previous models you could use a reusable pod and your own coffee or various other manufacturers brands.

I was actually considering a Keurig 2.0 K400 just because of the carafe portion of the machine so, I read up on the reviews and discovered people are really, really, really pissed that they only allow Kuerig pods for the single serve and carafe mode on the new machines, something they fail completely to mention on any of the spec sheets.

So given I'd have been paying $14.95 for 18 pods since I couldn't use a reusable one I decided to keep that other overpriced piece of crap, the Bosch Tasimo single serve machine on my counter as mostly decoration and have the luxury of paying the minute amount of $7.99 for 14 pods.

Although, after some thought these facts makes me pretty sure the Coffee Club Clowns aren't going to win their lawsuit for one simple reason. Bosch has been making machines that only use "their pods" since day one and nobody ever complained about that.

I use an old trick - put half a cleaned eggshell in the coffee. It adds no taste, and helps all the grounds sink to the bottom.
