Hopefully all the people experiencing this caught the error and were able to vote their choice. From what little I have heard, it seems those who had this happen reported it and the machines were taken out of service by local officials.
It took him about one day to alter these machines to do exactly that, change votes to show up for the opposite party. So, it would seem they still haven't fixed the issue with the machines only this time it's the Democrats who are cheating to win rather than the Republicans which, leads me to believe that there is no moral integrity in politics what so ever, party affiliation not withstanding.
Strange. I can remember watching a documentary about something like this a year or so after GWB beat the guy who invented the internet for the Presidency. The people who designed and built the election machines were claiming their machines couldn't be tampered to do just what is supposedly happening here. So the documentary makers brought some mechanical genius over from Europe and had him attempt to alter these inviolate machines to make it that vote for Democrat showed up as a vote for Republican.

This has not been established. The problem with these machines is that they are not bulletproof. Misalignment occurs which registers a button press to a wrong part of the screen.
In your previous example, I don't think they exploited that weakness, but they may have. However, that was Bush v Kerry and not Bush v Gore.

My mistake. Although in my defense, all Democrats look the same.
I can't remember the name of the documentary but I'll try and find it because while it's never been definitively proven the way that guy quickly manipulated the machines gives rise to all kinds of questions especially if it's happening again.
Not even one.
Isn't it apparent at that time that what some have been saying about voter fraud is undeniably true and America will never have another fair election?
What do Americans do then?
Curious that in the current election cycle I cannot find not even one single instance of a ballot machine recording a Democrat vote as a Republican vote.
Not even one.
There's a limit as to what you can make a machine do.

Uh... taking a day to change a machine isn't a reasonable standard to claim that they can't be tampered with. Unless someone can do it in the period of time it takes to vote without having direct physical access to the machines they are tamper proof.
I could adjust a ATM machine given access and time. Even if I had to rewrite the software. That's not a fault with the security of the machine, that just how physical objects work.
This is a very poorly written bit of software that's reading the touch screen wrong.
