had nothing to do with this attempted Lee Rigby.
Just happy this fucker is dead.
Hope the soldiers come through this ok.
"NDP Leader Tom Mulcair also said he believed the government's immediate analysis to be premature."

What part of:
"Federal authorities have confirmed that there are clear indications that the individual had become radicalized
couldn't Mulcair understand?
This incident is extremely disturbing to say the least but what's really disturbing is Mulcairs response. Besides, the only way that Mulcair would admit that anyone had become radicalized is if they walked through his front door dressed in black, waving an ISIS flag and threatened to decapitated his wife and even then there's a 50/50 chance he wouldn't believe they were who they said they were.

That's because Mulcair and the NDP are major supporters of Open Borders and No One is Illegal. Pretty hard to support those positions when you have to admit we already have more than enough imported problems a "functioning" border system.
One of those soldiers has died.

Sorry for the family of the soldier, they deserve better than this.
Well, the honeymoon is over. Time to wake up and realize the crazies are running around here with the rest of us.
We always knew they were here. I am glad that this nutbar wasnt able to get his hands on a firearm, we could have many more killed.
True, we knew about them. But if they do nothing there is no reason to be concerned; 'live and let live' and all that. Now it's changed to 'live and let die'. Ok, if that's the way they want it . . . a few hundred of 'them', a few million of 'us'. I like our odds.
And agreed on the latter. It could have been much worse.
Our odds are not good in this sort of attack, unless by live and let die you're thinking of it in a preemptive sense. I hope not. I do know the police will sometimes have a talk with people they are watching, give them a warning, and that prevents some attacks. But what we really need is to pull the larger Muslim community into this, where they are willing to stand up against this bullshit. We certainly won't do that with the sort of anti-Muslim rants we see on CKA, just alienate them further. OTOH, responsible people should be reaching out to Muslims more, and putting it to them that part of being a citizen is getting involved. It's not fair to hold all Muslims responsible for the actions of the fringe, OTOH, all Muslims should quit just complaining about that and make a greater effort to prevent radicalization. It will benefit them greatly if they are seen as being on the right side here.
Look at the pamphlet the Muslim group put out. At first it had RCMP backing, then they withdrew it because the pamphlet was too "confrontational." It had sections in it about how Muslims are not required to talk to the police and so forth. That's not what's needed right now. What needs to be happening it Muslim groups clearly coming out against the radicals and for Canada. In actions more than words. Rather than retreating into just feeling like victims because popular sentiment is against them.
What I'd like to see is Harper address the Muslim community. Talk about how the radicals are misusing Islam to validate their actions. (Muslims themselves have said as much). How therefore the Muslim community is in the best place to confront this misuse by confronting the radicalizers, or if they are afraid, to tell the police about them, or both. That if they try to ignore what's going on, it will only bode ill for them.
