At the end of the two-week Vatican synod led by famously progressive Pope Francis, bishops failed to approve even watered-down proposals on ministering to gay Catholics.

what a bunch of cynical old virgins, so much for the 'vicar' of christ on earth.

The sooner we get away from this lunacy and emancipate ourselves from this cult of death and enslavement the better.

Not surprising coming from the religion of brotherly love. :(

Guess God's representative on earth doesn't have all that much power to get his way.

But, when he does, what he says is infallible. Watched some priest on the news saying that the Pope can make something like this happen but that isn't his way.

So until he stops trying to convince his followers that this is the right thing to do and tells them, it's my way or the highway like his predecessors, none of his reforms will ever come to fruition.

seems as soon as you get two or more people together claiming to have the same religion, you get this shit. Either they gang up to go after some infidel, or, better yet, they go after each other for being worse than the ignorant infidel, because they should know better. This is why religion should be a personal thing. Be your own farking pope. Although I have to admit sometimes there are even schisms within my religion of one: "There is no personal God." "Death to the deniers of a personal God."

    what he says is infallible

Only heathen Papists believe the clap trap about Papal infallibility. Peter himself lied and denied Christ three times, so if the rock upon which the Church was built was a flawed man, how could others be infallible?

Of course he's infallible and only you barbarous heretics would believe otherwise.

Just because Lex Luther or something nailed his feces to the door of a church in Germany doesn't alter that fact in the least. ROTFL

    Forgot the

    (sarcasm off)

Nobody Catholics included believe the Pope is infallible, especially considering his alleged infallibility only pertains to directing matters of Catholic religious doctrine.
