It's stuff like this that makes me thinks that those who bitch about teh CBC might have a point. What a non-story. Serisouly? You've Putin on the move in Europe, Ebola out of control in Africa and a convulsion of barbarity across teh Middle East and...this?

And there's a growing suspicion that the guy who ran into the White House recently was also a moslem. The suspicion is due to the fact that the Secret Service went to great lengths to try to play down the attack.

They initially said the man only made it to the front door. He made it to the East Room...well inside the supposed 'secure' zone.

They initially said the man was taken into custody without incident. Nope, he beat down a 42 year old female guard first.

They initially said the man was unarmed. Nope, he was armed with a sizable knife - some are saying a Bowie knife.

In short, the guy may have intended on beheading Obama.

THAT is pretty bloody scary. 8O

Quite, as is the lengths they are going to cover up their major fuckup.

But my point, as was Zips, was that there are slightly more pressing matters in the world beyond what baby PJs have to say on them. The media seems to have gotten it's priorities off plumb again.

And this wasn't the only news site I saw this article on. :(

Yeah, yeah, we know. You think Obama is a muslim terrorist. Give it a rest!

    I read this far...

Thank you for quoting me accurately yet somehow managing to respond to something I didn't say at all.

    GFY.

As they ably proved with this faux outrage, at least 95% of what comes out of or goes on in any university is complete worthless bullshit.

The CBC complains that their viewership is down and they need money.....and then they go report on something as meaningless as this. This is what qualifies as Current Events on the CBC nowadays? It's no wonder I tuned out years ago.
