A day after scoring his first goal in a Canuck jersey, Jordan Subban answered questions this morning regarding an insensitive photo caption that appeared on the websites of both the Vancouver Sun and The Province.
The media was making such a big fuss about it yesterday. The two papers were apologizing their heads off, and the video media was frothing at the mouth to point out what an earth shattering, politically incorrect boner the two papers made.
But if you read, watch, or listen to comments, or even listen to Jordan Subban himself, nobody else seems to care that much. The immediate reaction was more a big, fat "so what?"
They do have a point. In an NBA game when the press posts a picture do they describe an individual as the "light" guy in the middle who, finally got his chance after sitting on the bench for 81 games?
Good to know there are some incredibly stupid people in Vancouver.
