I guess she doesn't understand what free speech means. It's a democracy, people can advocate for pretty well anything. If Australians are stupid enough to vote for it, that's their problem. After the pro-sharia people are kicked out or denied benefits, who will be next on the govt's list of non-right thinkers to be persecuted? Should just open re-education camps and get done with it. Amazing how quickly people are willing to abandon the foundations of democracy as soon as things get a little sticky. Maybe it's not the German character, but just human character that does that.
She's just as free to suggest to them that they leave if they don't like Australia. It's friggin' hilarious to see you argue for the right of free speech while having a problem with someone's free speech.
On this forum there have been individuals who complained that they prefer US gun laws to Canada's gun laws. I've suggested to them that they might be more comfortable leaving Canada for the US. I guess I'm against democracy and free speech too.

No doubt there are Christians in Australia, just as in US and Canada, that advocate for a Christian theocracy (Dominion Theology). Same deal, get out, or is that different? What if they were born there, where should they go?
