MANAGUA, Nicaragua – A mysterious explosion that rocked Nicaragua's crowded capital Managua, creating a large crater, appears to have been caused by a meteorite, officials said Sunday.

    Looks like this meteor was a chunk of the 60 footer that came inside the geostationary orbit of Earth over the weekend.

    Interesting. Too bad Project Spaceguard was never completed. Of course, the 'smart' people were afraid that it would also be used for missile defense and that might upset people like Valdemort Putin if the civilized world were able to defend itself.
