I thought this was Dartmouth in Halifax, then I saw it wasn't. Instead, it was just another another bit of irrelevant frothing and air pawing by the local spamtivist. It's like having Curt and his non stop pot threads all over again.

    Gets old real quick.

Dartmouth, like many colleges, has a rule against allowing firearms on campus. A spokesman for the Ivy League college, located in Hanover, N.H., said that exceptions are not made...

Case closed... maybe she can find a school where she can carry.

That spokesman needs to read his own weapons policy that says:

    http://www.dartmouth.edu/~hrs/pdfs/weapons_policy.pdf

VI. REQUESTS FOR EXCEPTIONS TO THIS POLICY

Only under the most unusual circumstances will an exception to this policy be granted. Requests for an exception may be made in writing to the Director of the DOSS or his/her designee. The Director or his/her designee will review the request in consultation with appropriate members of the College’s administration and will respond to the requestor in writing with his/her decision.

Exceptions are made and the fact of this is the necessity for the policy. They just don't want to give an exception to a 20 year old girl with a violent stalker.

    Sounds like US campuses need something like Safewalk;

    https://www.su.ualberta.ca/services/safewalk/

Far safer than someone trying to reach for a concealed pistol when someone has a gun pointed at their temple (as the woman in the video mentions several times).

If Fiddle didn't post constantly on US politics/issues, I might think he was Ridenrain in disguise...

Classic "better judged by twelve instead of buried by six" scenario. She should just carry a handgun regardless of what the college says. Pop the fucker between the eyes with it if he comes near her and let the criminal justice system figure the rest of it out on their own. No point jerking around with some university bureaucrats who, going by the campus rape statistics that are getting more and more awful as time goes by, really don't take violence against women any more seriously than some knuckle-dragging red state swamptards do. Getting in trouble with the law, when she's the one under attack, should be the least of her considerations.

I miss ol' Rider. Them were the days. It took more than demagoguery from you radicals to combat rational, supported argument in those good ol days, I'll tell you.

And hey I posted you guys tons of stories last night. I posted you one about a tiger eating a lady in India, and another on an old eel that died in a well. Why are you picking on me for this one. sniff sniff. And again...

I don't know if it's true or not, and of course, it could change, but it seems that the stalker never actually went to Dartmouth. Looks like he stalks her only when she goes home.

Dartmouth college ... nice place, btw.

Dartmouth NS ... nice people! The place is a bit of a dump, tho. Think of an impoverished Surrey.

Heh, I lived in Dartmouth... 13 years.

Mind you, it's probably changed since the last time I went... that was 43 years ago.
