A cybersecurity firm said it has uncovered about 1.2 billion Internet logins and passwords and more than 500 million email addresses amassed by a Russian crime ring, the largest known collection of such stolen data, the New York Times reported on Tuesday.
I forgot a bunch of passwords.........maybe I can contact them?
They want money for them. Perhaps CSEC would be magnanimous?

Crap.........all the good ones are taken.
what about those password managers where you only have to remember one password. Any good?
Depends. I use Mozilla's. They encrypt passwords locally, and don't share with anyone. Microsoft's, not so much. Keypass rocks.
Find out what they do with your passwords, and see if it's OK with you.
I also use 'graduated' passwords, that have a predictable pattern so I don't have to use a manager if I don't want to.
