We can do without the baggage that will come with them. Besides, we'll be getting our fill of economic refugees after Scotland secedes!

Sorry. I'm all for taking in sponsored refugees. But when we see them come here and turn into jihadis and want to tell us how to run our country, not thanks.

The immigration minister did not rule out taking in a high number of government-assisted refugees but said the country could take in a lot more refugees if more Canadians opened up their doors to sponsoring refugees from Syria.

How many more is "a lot more"?

Is our immigration minister going to set an example by opening up his own door and being a sponsor? Will any of our MP's do that?

He appealed to Canadians to see what they can do to ensure their "tax dollars and resources … go as far as they possibly can to help Syria."

Uh... no. Absolutely f*cking not. I would much rather ensure that MY tax dollars and resources go towards helping my fellow CANADIANS thank you very much.

The hell with Syria. The hell with our govt, and to hell with ANYONE who thinks this is just a wonderful idea.

I'm with you Strutz. As long as we have homeless people and kids going hungry here in Canada, it's absolutely criminal to be wasting money on other people's problems just to import them here.

If any Christians are still alive I'd take them. That's it.

Maybe we should put pressure on the US to stop giving weapons to the Al-Qaeda terrorist rebels that are fighting the legitimate elected government to help restore the nation to stability.

Oh wait that wouldn't be what Israel wants.
