The Canadian government's surplus auction site carries items ranging from a mass spectrometer to a police car, all available for sale because the government seized them or they aren't needed anymore.

I've known about this site for a while, you can find some pretty sweet stuff.

I perused it too. Some cool stuff, but you have to go pick it up or arrange for shipping. Makes some stuff cheaper to buy new.
