American journalist Glenn Greenwald is accusing the U.S. National Security Agency of breaking into tech hardware to install surveillance bugs before the products are shipped to unsuspecting global customers, in a new book about the NSA's mass surveillance

    So the NSA is loading up spyware on computers and routers before they even leave the factories. Big Brother truly is with us.

    Has been for a long time.

    Not on all routers and computers, just on ones destined for a preferred 'target'. And people get nervous that network hardware made in China has been 'rooted'.
