War on drugs a global failure...said everyone 30 years ago. Nice of the eocnomists to join us.

Well, not everyone, hence the spirited discussion on this forum. Who knows, maybe there will be a way of saying that there's a better way will finally sink in for people. Probably not tho.

I just get a kick out of economists is all. "Hey, look what we just found out!"

Fischer also says the argument that decriminalization leads to more drug use is a fallacy, and he points to the world's most popular drug — marijuana — as an example.

“Everyone that wants to use cannabis is using cannabis today," he says. "[There's no] evidence that there are people who are waiting just for this to be regulated, then all of a sudden will decide that they will now start using.”

I'd argue against Fischer, I know a few folks that would consume if it were legalized/regulated. The numbers aren't huge but they are there

Probably because they got the 'noids when they smoked it Legalization could reduce that feeling

As far as the headline goes, that particular institution should rename itself the "London School of the Blatantly Obvious".
