REGINA -- The RCMP is giving a shout-out to Briercrest residents who joined forces with them on Friday in an unusual takedown that involved three suspects being taken into custody in the bucket of a tractor.
Wouldn't it be great if all criminals could be apprehended in such a civilized manner where no one gets injured and it ends as it should with the idiots in custody?
"andyt" said Well, often the criminals are the ones not being civilized to begin with. But yes, I'm glad the locals didn't get shooting or what have you.
Guns in rural SK are for game, skunks, clay pigeons etc. Not saying there are zero wingnuts in rural SK that would think of a gun as something to use on people, but they would be quite rare.
Also, it's very easy to steal vehicles in communities like that. Everybody leaves the keys in and doors unlocked in case somebody needs it for something.
Welcome to the country kids, enjoy the fresh air and cold boggy slough!
Ha ha, here's another picture...

Hope they get use to showering together too.
