Police reportedly visited the home early Friday morning to warn the home owner and mother of the party?s planner that her house was being promoted on social media for a massive party. She told police that, ?I told my son he could have some friends over.?

Wow... $70K in damages. The home owner will have to deal with that as there is no way any of the vandals will pay.

Amazing that no one was injured, at least it's not mentioned in the article that anyone was.

Rob Ford doesn't live in Peel. He lives just over the border in Etobicoke.

Does anyone know where the message originated, was it the kid throwing the bash or someone else who thought it a good idea for shit and giggles?

The kid may have just messaged a few people. But it never stays that way, just takes one idiot to post it on facebook or what have you, and away you go. Hell i had it happen to me long before social media with a drunk friend getting up on stage at a dance and broadcasting my address. By the time I actually made it home the cops were just taking the last few idiots away. No damage done, since this was a rooming house and the other tenants repelled the invaders.
