No hard feelings Torts, you were just a bad fit for a Team with other issues added on.

Good luck in your future endeavours.

This should come as no surprise to anyone.

Really not much difference between the Canucks and the Leafs. The Canucks just usually fold in the playoffs instead of the regular season.

No real surprise although it's going to cost the Aquilini boys another $4 million to buy out the remaining 4 years in his contract, the same as it cost to get rid of Gillis. It's a good thing those boys have deep pockets, although as we all know, it's the fans who will end up paying the piper in the long run! I hope the new head man chooses the right man as the Canuck's 18th head coach, although with his past record Torts did look to be the right man for the job at the time. Hopefully Linden will shop around town and maybe have a good look at Don Hay.

I'd rather the Canucks try and pry away Dave Tippet from Phoenix.

I suppose that's the easier task than trading all the high-priced help who underperformed all year.

The dead weight is next on the list methinks.
