Court heard the killers saw Sanders as a threat to their business and planned the murder for days over cell phone and text. They then lured Sanders to a Surrey basement and stabbed him with a machete.

His body was later found charred beyond recognition in a wooded area south of Burnaby Lake.

    6 years.

The first charge was 1st degree murder, but one was out on bail.

Can you smell the $$$$$ ?

Why were they not charged with 1st degree murder. THis was planned, WTF?

Martin, are you saying bribery? This never gets mentioned by the media, but I'm sure with all the drug money out there, there are a number of cops and judges on the take.

I hope the crown will appeal. But then I guess they were part of this plea deal. Maybe they didn't have very good evidence.
