Oops, Sorry Regina. I accidentally double-posted this one.

I was sure I'd checked. Oh well...

    Clayton's a bigger dick than I am. He's a crook on purpose.

Wait wait, Aboriginal Canadian leaders who commit crime can actually be arrested? What? When did this start happening?

It's not the first job that he's had a hand in the cookie jar.

First Nations peoples should be dissuaded from purchasing cookie jars.

    Agreed,

Just leave whatever valuables lying about... makes it easier for their elders to rob them blind.

He's had his hand in Whitey's cookie jar too. It's not his first rodeo.

I'll just interrupt the predictable self-congratulating to point out to the usual suspects here that it wasn't the Great White Knights that rode in and arrested him.

It was not Whitey but the Band Council who became concerned, terminated his employment and called the Band Police Service, who investigated and ultimately arrested him.

Meanwhile, Whitey over at Harper's Ministry of Aboriginal Affairs had agreed for Kennedy become co-manager on another reserve. Hope that's not too much piss in your kool-aid.

In Conboys vs Indians, I don't think either side comes off looking particularly good.

Harper doesn't pick anyone. The band picks them and because no one wants to be accused of racism, the lifer bureaucrats who've worked for the Federal government forever and will get a nice big fat pension thought it was fine. Until now he had not been charged with anything, and never has been.

I like that, "Conboys" What nickname do you have for the political party that ran the residential school system for 54 of its 72 year existence?
What cute nickname do you have for the party that buried the evidence of nutritional "experiments" at St. Mary's while acting like the FN's best friends and defenders of their rights?
Face it andy, NO recent govt in Canada has looked good when it comes to some of their dealings with the FN.
