Justin Bieber could face federal prison time and a hefty fine if the Federal Aviation Administration finds he interfered with the flight crew aboard a privat...
According to multiple law enforcement sources, the leased Gulfstream IV on which Bieber, his father and 10 friends traveled to Teterboro, N.J. was so full of marijuana smoke that the pilots were forced to wear oxygen masks.
I imagine the cockpit voice recording would sound something like this.
Pilot: Do you smell that?
Co-Pilot: Smell what?
Pilot: Smells like... burning...
Co-Pilot: Electrical?
Pilot: No No... Can't quite place it...
*flight attendant enters cockpit*
Flight Attendant: Hey! One of you flyboys needs to get back there and tell them to put out that shit... Wait you guys got any Oreos?
When then police in Beverly Hills searched his his mansion over the egging incident they arrested the black guy who was there at the time so some things are still normal.
The operative word in the article is could. He could face jail time, but he won't.
Sadly, very sadly, you are probably correct. He's gotten away with breaking other laws seemingly without any real consequences.
Average Joe would already be in jail. True, but now there's a major difference. He's only dealt with local authorities up until now. Now he's got the FAA and potentially a federal criminal charge staring at him, both for weed and his asshattery on the plane. As was pointed out, one incident on a plane can lead to more than one charge, and the more charges, the more likely something will stick.

*8 Seconds of silence*
Pilot: Go on emergency oxygen Tim.
Co-pilot: But I wanna go back there and...
Pilot: Now gawd damnit!!!

Money and fame, if fact, do make a difference.
