    If she sticks to the facts she'll do alright eventually. Gore's bafflegab will be all lies and nonsense. Redford will win in the fact checks of the week that follows.

    George W. Bush, playing his "well-meaning every-man" character, beat Al Gore in debates. I don't see this ending well for Al.

    Agreed. Gore must see an opening though, because he's still too gutless to accept Lord Monckton's challenge to debate.

    He either sees a weakness in Allison or he's getting desperate for anything that might somehow be presented as a victory.

    Maybe he'll pull off a victory, have a surge of confidence, and run for the 2016 Democratic Party presidential nomination. We could use some humour down here.

    I think he could win the election purely coasting from the fame of his invention of the Internet!

    Bush also beat Al Gore in Gore's home state of Tennessee. :lol:

    Not much of a debate really, it's a private meeting;

    Both Redford and Gore are scheduled to take part in a private session discussion on "the future of climate regulatory mechanisms and their impact on business" while in Davos on Thursday.

    As such, they'll both claim victory no doubt.

    Still, if it was a real debate, I'd put my money on Redford. With her background in law and the UN, she'd tear Gore a new one.
