It’s perhaps not the disgusting and twisted visual of atomic devastation Neil Young described...

I guess the Soros-backed Tides foundation that backed the Neil Young tour from San Fransisco got the attention they were looking for, but I'm not sure it was the kind they wanted.

Grateful Canadians have put up a new website dedicated to Neil, and his Tides backed attacks on the oilsands.

I am a Japanese Canadian. I find #NeilYoung comparing #ymm to #Hiroshima insensitive and ignorant. A bomb killed women & children, big diff.

It's no different than calling someone a Nazi or comparing then to Hitler or accusing someone of conducting a 'Holocaust' when, in fact, no one is being put to death in a concentration camp.

This era of gross exaggeration and meaningless hyperbole is the death of the language as when the real meanings of words are lost to new meanings.

How do you live that you don't destroy the planet right along with the rest of us? There's 7,000,000,000 of us, way too many for the planet to cope with. The best thing you can do to help is commit suicide.

Oh, you had an industrial job? Welcome to the real world. I doubt it was any worse than the work I did in a mine and in a smelter in Sudbury. And I look back on those days with gratitude for those dirty, dusty, dangerous jobs that paid well and helped me get a good start in life.

It's like working in a slaughterhouse. You get to see the unpalatable side of a process that provides us with those neatly wrapped steaks and sausages that we crave. There's no other way to get 'em, son, without somebody getting dirt on their hands.

It would be nice if we could tra-la-la our way through our lives without the industrial underpinning that contributes to the economic activity we all need.

Just like the morons who call the police the gestapo and claim to be fighting fascists....oh well, that`s to be expected from high school dropouts who`ve never made it more than a day`s drive from their home. huhuhuhuh, pass the Doritos and the bong
