How much do you all want to bet that Japan doesn't get hit with the same "climate villian" label that keeps getting stuck on us?
Don't quote me on this, but I believe 3% above 1990 levels is the same goal line we drew for ourselves.

Don't even get me started. All the coal fired power plants in operation, and Alberta is the only place where we removed a coal power plant. And that amount of pollution doesn't compare to the oilsands. And all the Nuclear plants that are being cancelled because of fracking and all the new natural gas on the market . . .and the oilsands are the bad guy . . .

6% under 1990 was the Kyoto target, which is meaningless now that we've backed out of the accord.
3% above 1990 is the target we have set for ourselves (close to the American target). It's also the same target Japan just made.
