I don't get it. France, of all countries, is pushing for some actual return for the lessening of sanctions. The United States, on the other hand, is seemingly willing to just give into Iran, when a nuclear Iran is a very negative development for the Middle East. Israel is understandably furious that the deal the US presented to the Israelis in Jerusalem is now something entirely different from what is actually presented. I mean, what the hell is going on these days?

The PC brigades of appeasement and multiculturalism have taken over the West.
Obama is an apologist to the Muslim world...has been ever since his inauguration.

The West is doomed now that Iran will be getting nukes/nuke material.
Guess it's now up to Israel to blow up Iran's nuke factories by itself.

Same as with Hitler...the Allies fell for his talkfests and stalling tactics, then he let 'em have it.
Millions died and were maimed for life as a result.

Always pleasant to see, on the eve of Remembrance Day, an appearance by the armchair warriors from the Needs-MOAR-War contingent.

    Comparison to Nazi Germany? check
Argument that the entire world has to scrape and bow to an imperialistic religious fundamentalist wanker like Benjamin Netanyahu because, y'know, Holocaust? check
It's all Obama Teh Sekrit Mooslim's fault? check
We're doomed and WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE! unless we do something right now? check
PC pussification and multikult blamed for something it has absolutely nothing to do with? check

Yep, just another day on the internet, the place where details and context go to die.

Surprise, surprise, especially given the fact it was just revealed that those paragons of peace, virtue and brotherhood, the Saudi Princes have access to a nuclear bomb from their furry little friends in Pakistan, anytime their little hearts desire. XD

Nothing like America's allies playing a game of biggest dick in the sandbox eh.

It's entirely possible that Iran had no intention of forgoing a nuclear arsenal anyway and it was all about hoodwinking the Western powers into dropping trade sanctions. There wasn't going to be a deal.

Don't look at me. I'm not the one building nuclear weapons.

Given that Israel has nukes and Saudi to all intent and purposes has nukes makes the West pretty hypocritical to tell Iran they can't have nukes.

More unintended consequences of the US strategy of the enemy of my enemy is my friend idiocy.

We've helped make a lot of nuclear weapons.

Much more complicit in nuclear weapon creation than North Korea, Iran, Pakistan.

All around associated with more destructive capabilities than they could ever possibly dream of.

They can destroy parts of cities at best, we can destroy worlds.

This is one of a very few countries that has relinquished its nuclear weapons. It is a very short list.

Sure, but uranium is something we've exported a shit ton of. And not to help power homes.

True. The first bombs were made from Canadian Uranium. How are our uranium exports these days? Are we still shipping it out to made into bombs?

Here's hoping that the talks can get back on track after Israel scuppered them yet again.

I don't see what the problem is. If Iran is truly genuine and willing to put limits on its nuclear program, in exchange for a removal of sanctions and a return to the international fold, then that's a win for everybody.

And if they're aren't genuine, then we're back to where we are already only even more suspicious and sceptical of Iran.

so you think they are genuine about their desire for peace, yet doubt their stated intentions to wipe wipe Israel off of the map? Bizarre
