This haunted house warns of “severed” male genitalia while encouraging women to flash theirs.

This is pretty god damn odd... how she could get taxpayer money for that is beyond me.

If she was denied funding she would scream discrimination.

Meh, it was only $500. Plus the money came from Ontario Arts Council, not strictly the taxpayer. The OAC gets funding from private sources too. A few bucks to keep the butches happy is okay with me. Let the dykes have their party. We piss away tax dollars on way worse things.

I'd rather fund a lesbo party than pay most of the government seat moisteners to sit on their asses all day doing pretty much nothing productive.

The photo of the bull in charge was illuminating. Not exactly the kind of lesbo ghosts I want to see scissoring each other if I'm on a tour of the house. 8O PDT_Armataz_01_32

Acknowledgment is posted on the outside of the rented location at 303 Lansdowne Ave., also called Killjoy Kastle, that funding was provided by the Toronto Arts Council, Ontario Arts Council (OAC) and Canadian Council for the Arts

The Canadian Council for the Arts 2013 allotments are not yet available but documents show Mitchell was granted $20,000 in 2011 from the council and a total of $61,000 since 2005.

2013 figures aren't available yet, but if her past funding is any indicator, she received much more than $500.

    What a waste... :(

How do you know it's a waste? You don't have any idea how the other $60,500 was spent. All you know is this party cost $500, most of that not tax dollars.

If the so called "haunted house" is as described in the article, severed dicks and fondling tunnel and all, that in my opinion is a waste. She wants to throw a party like that she should do it on her own dime.

All we know is that the OAC gave her $500.00, that isn't the cost of the "party". Toronto Arts and Canada Arts also kicked in for it, or at least that's what the sign in the yard said.

A fondling tunnel? I don't know what that is but it sure sounds worth at least $500.

Some guy should sneak into the fondling tunnel just to hear the screams of terror :P

May sound fun, but I doubt they'd let you in.

I'm sure Lemmy's wife could go and give us a report.
See if taxpayer's money is being spent wisely.

LOL! I wanted to say something, but I'm busy trying to hatch a plan to get the government to pay for my Credit Card Bills under the guise of some 'art' project...
