Poll finds Suzuki most admired nationally, though not in Alberta, and while Rick Hansen is B.C.’s clear favourite, he barely registers in Quebec

Pretty much that whole list is lacklustre. Not much inspiration to be found there.

Environmentalist though I am, not that big into Suzuki. Maybe cause I'm an engineer. We see the ugly dirty mess behind the curtain that makes our civilization run, from mines to refineries to sewage treatment plants to slaughterhouses. It's not all frolicking in the meadows.

As far as great human beings go, most of them aren't famous. I don't really findfamous people thatb inspiring. As an artist I'm moved by many--Leonard Cohen, Neil Young, Gord Downey (sp?). I don't really expect these guys to live up to their artistic talents in person though. Just because you are given this wonderful gift as musical geniuses doesn't really make you a better person.

My hero is still my first boss and my second boss--men who taught me to work hard and take care of your family.

My Dad is still my hero.

My main goal in life is to be half the man he is, and if I can be a quarter the father he is my kids will be well done by.

Mr. Hansen, who ranked second nationally, had the highest approval rating in his home province of British Columbia, at 76 per cent, and the lowest in Quebec, at just 14 per cent.

Why the hell do the Queerbecers have such a hate on for Rick Hansen?

Too bad Commander Hadfield didn't make the list. He'd win.

When you provide a list to chose from this poll says very little.
