She returned recently (while still paying rent!) to find all the drywall so mouldy that people can't stay anywhere on the floor for longer than 10 minutes without having their throat burn. The property manager says they can have the drywall washed in 6 months.

I suggested that very thing. I think she's back using someone's spare room for now, looking at a new apartment in a market with next to zero vacancy.

Having been inside many ATCO crap shacks, and knowing how far $1200 can go as far as rent and utilities, I beg to disagree.
