Despite solid evidence of a crime, an alleged rapist is never prosecuted. Then the small town turned on the victim.

You see, the rapist was a star football player and his grandfather is a politically connected state legislator and former state highway patrol officer. That means the rapist - 17 year old Matthew Barnett - gets a pass on forcible rape because he's .

Seems his best bud also gets a pass on raping a 13 year old girl at the same party.

On the upside of things, now that this has gone national the FBI will inevitably get involved because of the child porn charges that can be brought along with the civil rights charges that will likely be brought against the prosecutors.

Edit: Anonymous is going to attack the town.

I still don't know how to feel about A. Nony Mouse. Sometimes they are brilliant, sometimes they fail horribly.

Something needs to be done, but are they the ones to do it?

I would have expected law enforcement, likely the FBI to go after the child porn angle. I suppose if no one is willing to serve justice, the people must do it themselves.

I think the Feds will get involved here just because it's clear that this has gone too far.

Dana was ranting against the injustice this morning on her radio show. She mentioned it yesterday too, so she's just starting to get wound up. She's the right wing voice of Missouri. She was on whoever the state law bigwig is there in Missouri. She was on him by name. This story's not dead.

Jeez, they burned the lady's house down. Dana was on the townsfolk big time as not representing Missouri.

Sad but true. If there's one positive from this farce, unlike say the Reteah Parsons case, the local cops actually did their jobs.

It is sad. Anonymous should just stay out of it. As usual they have already crowdraged the wrong target, in this case a restaurant where an alleged rapist worked, but hasn't been there for two years.
