Wonder if the swabbies recognize that their efforts were just as futile in the long run as the soldier's efforts in Afghanistan. At least nobody died for this vain effort.

As long as the demand is there, more boats will get thru than be intercepted, and as we know, the war on drugs has only led to greater purity and lower cost of drugs.

What are you saying? People are still selling heroin after this momentous achievement?

How can that be? The plan was foolproof.

"A positive outcome like this, seizing and disposing of illegal narcotics whose sale would have funded extremist groups, is a big win for Canada's counter-terrorism efforts."

Terrorism is over, since we took their funding away. They'll go out and get proper jobs now.

I think this was a part of bigger operation to hit a particular cartel or something, because just about the same time a bunch of drug mules were also busted here with 22kgs of heroin, also more were at Milan and Muscat Airports.

As for the others, yeah lets just flood the streets with drugs like crack and heroin, so everybody can get high like a mofo and sing kumbaya together. :/

End prohibition to stop the violence. Deal with addiction through the health care system instead of the prison system, and deal with trafficking through regulation.

You want us to regulate heroine? Are you fucking insane?

Marijuana I understand, it is mostly harmless. Heroin & other hard drugs is destructive and by no means should be regulated or exploited.
