CUNY Students Harass David Petraeus

No matter what your opinion is on the surge in Iraq, nor his actions as C.I.A. director, but I don't think he's done anything to deserve this kind of scorn and disrespect.

Seriously, he willingly teaches at a university for a dollar, after his salary was deemed controversial, and yet still these little shits treat him like if he's Hitler. I wish I had the opportunity to attend a class taught by somebody who had such a major impact on the world these past few years.

After a long military career and after numerous commands (with all the attendant pressures that come with them), I imagine he could take a little heckling.

Petraeus can go all Sisko on their asses so they're fortunate that he showed such restraint.

I respected (and still do) Petraeus, the man re-engineered the US military response to counter-insurgency. Youth is totally wasted on the young.
