Chicago's 'Safe Passage' program aims to keep school kids safe

Many students heading back to class in Chicago next week will be greeted by adults who are working with the city's Safe Passage program, which places adults along designated routes to help make sure that the students get to class safely.

    WOW..."Watchers" along designated routes to make sure the kids make it to school safely, just how crazy are the streets in the US? Is this an isolated incident only in the Chicago area or is it widespread throughout the whole US of A?

    It's especially bad in Chicago.
