good friend of mine was there during that, and was interviewed by CTV news. Funny he went there as a Christian missionary, ended up marrying a Jewish girl settling down and converting ...sort of... to Judaism. Three kids and all of them being raised Jewish...sort of.. By sort of, I mean they're pretty secular. She was a Russian Jew, so pork is on the menu, as are shellfish and there is no dairy meat hang up.

seeing as he was an evangelical to start with and was officially converted at the time..no, but I'll remember that line My MiLs family are Jews too so that could come into play at a family gathering
