Study showed that people without cats and those who never had cats were at a 40 percent greater risk of dying from a heart attack and at a 30 percent greater risk of developing cardiovascular disease.

    Yeah, I can really feel the healing energy when the wife's cat climbs on top of my chest at 5 AM and starts purring/meowing because she wants to be petted. The sharp spike in my blood pressure is just kitty love filling my arteries!

    Love my cat but the beast will decide to be friendly at all the wrong times. Curls up on my book or the iPad and starts purring, kneading and drooling all over it. Write it off as a feline misinterpretation of human 'quiet time'.
    Like the misinterpretation of human ability.
    Yeah we can open doors, make images appear on the tv thing and make food appear out of boxes and bags. But shuddup, we can't turn off the rain so you can play outside!

    Feeling sad right now :( Our grey Persian disappeared two weeks ago.

    There's reports of Fishers in the area, so probably just natures way.
