The pension downside of living longer

Canadians are living longer than ever before. Most of us would consider that good news. But longer lives could pose new funding risks for many pension plans and their members.

This is why we need the opposite of the so-called "sin taxes" on booze and smokes. The "virtuous tax" would be a tax on clean-living, helathy, active individuals, just because they spend a greater amount of time not working and using medicare and social programs.

Not a bad idea, I propose calling it the "boring fucker" tax though, just for accuracy.

    Nice first post.

I'm thinking that they know exactly what 'fucker' means before they can read.

The solution to living longer (at least as far as relieving the pressure on pension plans), is to work longer.

No Freedom 55 for you!

    In all honesty......nobody!

And where does it say obscene comments are not allowed?

Profanity is discouraged, but not prohibited

Aside from that, a "boring fucking tax" can in no way be called an obscene comment, what it is though is fucking profanity!!

    For fuck's sake.

If you don't want your children seeing these "obscene" comments why don't you try some actual parenting and stop attempting to get the rest of us to do it for you. :P

I think we need a new rule. Anbody with less than 1000 posts isn't entitled to make stupid comments without the express written consent of the forum administrators. :D

    Just don't log in. Simple.
