    This Douse was a douche

Douse's aunt, Quwana Barcene, told the New York Post the boy was an only child.

"It's not fair. It was my sister's only child. You shouldn't have to bury your child," she said.

Douse had been in trouble with the law before.

He was charged in May with attempted murder after a 15-year-old boy was shot in a Bronx neighbourhood where Douse lived. That shooting took place two miles from where Douse was later shot to death.

Can't really give much pity, they knew he was dangerous and had tried to kill someone in the past but still clearly let him do what he wanted. Had police not stopped him he would have likely gone on to finally kill someone. When they tried to stop him the kid pointed a gun at police. No pity.

I doubt any facts about what kind of a monster this kid was becoming will prevent the usual suspects from turning him into another Travon Martin. Rev. Al can probably hear the cash register going "ka-CHING!" as we speak.

I doubt it. The kid was carrying a gun and was making trouble. The only people getting a hard on now are the hate mongers at FOX News.

Only the most hardcore anti-police groups will try and use this one, almost impossible to twist police killing someone that aims a loaded weapon at them after they have identified themselves. If it were a knife, bat, frying pan, or something like those then the media would be in an uproar over it.

Ya, I don't think even Big Al and The Reverend Jesse can spin this one into a cop killing an innocent black child. But that's not to say someone from their community won't give it a shot.

    Pardon the pun.

New York is New York. Any sort of crazy race-politics shit can, and will, happen there over any incident. Tom Wolfe had that goddamn place pegged 100% correctly in Bonfire Of The Vanities (the book, not that fucking awful movie version) and much hasn't changed since. With the controversy over profiling that's going on it's just as like the mayors office and NYPD HQ will decide to crucify this cop just as a make-up present to the black community just to keep the "Reverend" (hah!) Sharpton quiet.

Ummm, if the kid was charged with attempted murder what was he doing out? I am sure they could not have made bail? "It is also not fair" that these people raised a monster. No pitty for the loss if this person from the face of the Earth.

The prosecution of Douse was then deferred, said Steven Reed, a spokesman for the Bronx District Attorney's Office. The office had insufficient evidence to proceed, and the victim was unable to identify his shooter, he said

    Always read the whole article.

Well, I hate to be the one to say it, but... sow the wind, reap the tornado.
